epygi Quadro2x

The Quadro2x was designed for small offices or self-sufficient branches with as many as 18 individuals. The price point makes it affordable for even home offices or teleworkers.

The connection to the traditional phone network allows use of fax machines, retail point of sale or emergencies. Your everyday calls would be placed on IP phones that take advantage of cost savings and the full complement of VoIP features.

Make up to ten simultaneous IP calls (as many as four through a VPN tunnel) in addition to the PSTN line.

epygi Quadro2xi

The Quadro2xi is an almost identical cousin to the 2x, but substitutes an ISDN high-speed, high-bandwidth connection for the regular phone port. An ISDN line offers a step up in WAN performance over DSL connections and the ISDN SO port accepts analog voice and other activity (fax, etc.).

Note: ISDN is not widely supported in the USA. It is intended for all other countries with large networks of ISDN-based service providers. If you are unsure of ISDN support in your region please contact your dealer or Epygi Technologies directly for clarification.

epygi Quadro6L

Epygi designed the Quadro6L for environments that require multiple ringing phones and shared trunk appearance visibility. Pairing IP phones and technology with PSTN (and optional VoIP) access, it economically delivers a wealth of PBX features and Key System benefits. Voice mail, auto attendant, on-hold music or messaging, caller ID with distinctive ringing, call pickup, paging and intercom and many others are built-in.

Sophisticated auto-recognition and auto-configuration capabilities simplify installation and operation. The administrator can modify automatic assignments through the graphical user interface. The Quadro6L Key System features currently work with Aastra 6755i, 6757i, 6757iCT, 6731i, 6730i, 9133i, 9143i, 9480i, 9480iCT, 480i, 480iCT models and snom’s 320, 360, 370 and 820 models.

The Quadro4Li is ideal for the small businesses which require Key System or IP PBX features. Out of the box, the Quadro4Li can support 10 IP Phones and can expand to 18 total IP Phones while in PBX Mode. The four ISDN BRI lines can be used or an Internet Service Provider for local termination and calling. It economically delivers a wealth of IP PBX features and Key System benefits. This solution offers more analog phone support for smaller offices and allows users to take advantage of advanced features normally only available on the QuadroM32x. epygi QuadroM32x

The QuadroM32x IP PBX was designed for larger businesses with a greater need for IP extensions and SIP trunks. The appliance boosts capacity to as many as sixty concurrent calls and scales to 192 extensions.

Maximum call capacity is achieved using ITSP services and an E1/T1 interface for all local and failover calling (the ability to switch to another system in the event of service interruption). The QuadroM32x includes two FXS ports for connecting standard analog phones, fax machines or similar devices.

Like other Quadro IP PBXs, the QuadroM32x comes with a built-in QoS router for Internet access, a stateful inspection firewall, NAT, DHCP client and server, IPSec and VPN. It can be configured remotely via web browser using a simple GUI.

Software enhancements include an optional integrated 32/64-person conference bridge (enabled with license keys) and programmable ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) (ETA 4Q2008) for call centers. Installation and configuration protocol improvements make larger network installs faster and easier.

epygi QX1000

The QX1000 offers a complete solution for enterprises with up to 1,000 users. This pure IP solution offers all of the advanced functionality found on our leading SMB products but with increased capacity. To better serve our enterprise customers, the QX1000 offers a full hot-standby feature and enhanced QoS options for corporate networks.

Since this solution is a pure SIP telephone system, Epygi gateways can be easily added for analog or digital ports. This includes FXS, FXO, ISDN BRI, E1 and T1 ports. The QX1000 can connect to the PSTN via the added gateways or directly to an ITSP over the company's Ethernet network accessing the WAN.

Many advanced features for the QX1000 can be enabled with a software license. Some of these features include Video/Audio Conferencing, Barge-in, ACD for call centers, Call Recording, XML API, QCM softphone and outbound dialer tools. Other exciting tools and features are available without a license including HotCall Outlook plug-in, Epygi Media Streamer for hold music, Quadro Configuration Console, HotKeyCall and point-to-point video calling.

Call Recording

The Call Recording is a purchasable feature for the following IP PBX products: Quadro4xi, Quadro16xi, QuadroM8L, QuadroM12Li, QuadroM26x, QuadroM26xi, QuadroM32x and QX1000.

This service is used to record PBX, SIP or PSTN calls on the Quadro and stored either locally on the Quadro using internal memory or on an external server. Depending on the specific IP PBX solution, this feature can support up to 32 ports of simultaneous recorded calls. Calls are recorded by pushing the record button on an IP Phone, programming specific extensions to be recorded or recording every active call. Calls made to the auto attendant, voicemail or that are pure pass-through cannot be recorded.

Automatic Call Distribution (ACD)

Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) is a purchasable feature to support call center environments allowing for more customizable call distribution management. Adding this feature to a QuadroM8L, QuadroM12Li, QuadroM26x, QuadroM26xi, QuadroM32x and QX1000 will allow these systems to be used as an IP call center. Calls can now be distributed a number of different ways as described below:

  • All Agent Ringing - All of the Agents’ phones ring simultaneously
  • Round Robin - Each of the Agents’ phones are sequentially tried
  • Longest Idle - Call is sent to the Agent who has been idle the longest since their last call
  • Less Busy During Last Half Hour - Averaged over the last 30 minutes, the Agent that has been less busy will receive the call
  • Random Hunting - The Agents are selected at random
  • Skills - The Agent who has the highest composite skill grade will receive the call

With this feature installed, users of the Quadro will also have access to the Statistics Monitoring and Reporting (SMR) tool. This Windows® application with provide real-time ACD details to your desktop for easy viewing.

Barge-in Feature Pack

Three unique features will be enabled when the Barge-in license is activated. Silent Monitoring, Agent Whisper and Supervisor Barge-in will be available as enhanced features for authorized users on the IP PBX. These features do not require the ACD Activation key to be installed and can be used with regular user extensions on the QuadroM8L, QuadroM12Li, QuadroM26x, QuadroM26xi, QuadroM32x and QX1000.

  • Silent Monitoring: The Supervisor will be able to listen in on a call by dialing *91+extension number. With this option users may only listen to the other party’s call, and there is no audible notification
  • Whisper Mode: The Supervisor will be able to listen in on a call and advise the agent on things to say to the caller. The Supervisors comments are only heard by the Agent. The Supervisor can active Whisper Mode by dialing *92+extension number. The extension dialed will hear an audible tone to notify the single user that someone has joined the call
  • Barge In: An ACD Supervisor will be able to join an established call and have a 3-way call by dialing *93+extension number. All participants will hear an audible tone to notify that another party has joined the call

Audio Conference Bridge

An integrated conferencing feature is available for the QuadroM8L, QuadroM12Li, QuadroM26x, QuadroM26xi, QuadroM32x and QX1000. Depending on the specific IP PBX, a maximum of 64 conferencing ports can be added with purchasable feature keys. The number of available ports determines how many active users can be on the individual conference bridge at one time. More than 64 unique conference bridges can be configured per system for use by authorized owners.

Video Conferencing

Audio conferencing has always been the method for group communication, especially for remote users. Today video is more affordable and offers an additional return on investment when addressing remote communication needs. The ability to visually describe something or determine moods and gestures greatly increases the effectiveness of remote communication.

Video conferencing is available on all QuadroM IP PBX products after activating the appropriate feature key SKU-QUADRO-0780-0800 (in addition to purchasing the audio conferencing licenses). The following participant numbers are available:

  • QX1000: Fifty-two 2 video participants licenses can be purchased for a total of 104 video conference participants in all active conferences. The maximum total number of video and audio participants in all active conferences is 288
  • QuadroM32x: Eight 2 video participants licenses can be purchased for a total of 16 video conference participants in all active conferences. The maximum total number of video and audio participants in all active conferences is 64
  • QuadroM8L/26x/12Li/26xi: Five 2 video participants licenses can be purchased for a total of 10 video conference participants in all active conferences. The maximum total number of video and audio participants in all active conferences is 32.
